Legal

I'm a solo indie game developer, not a lawyer. But in what follows I will nevertheless try to explain what this site is, what it does, and how it may be used, to the best of my abilities.

First of all, by using this website, you agree to the terms and conditions laid out below. If you disagree to them, please stop using the website. And be aware that they are subject to change at any time, and without notice.

This website, any external press kits or other links, and the works they promote (games/books/art/etc.) are provided “as is”. Which means that you use them at your own risk. Which again means that if they cause you any harm, such as by providing inaccurate information, or by somehow managing to mess up your computer, then I am not liable for it. However, I do solemnly swear to not intentionally bring about any such things.

All assets on this website, those of any external press kits, and the works they promote (games/books/art/etc.) are subject to copyright. However, you are more than welcome to incorporate them into journalism or criticism relating to the work itself, or in any way that would qualify as fair use. And you are permitted – and even encouraged – to distribute and monetize your own gameplay footage, such as for the purpose of streaming, or creating lets-plays. For any other kind of usage, please seek explicit permission.

Neither this website, any external press kits, nor the works they promote (games/books/art/etc.) intentionally incorporate any AI-generated assets (images/text/code/etc.).

This website was made using Squarespace, which is a drag-and-drop website builder. And Squarespace uses a variety of cookies for a number of different purposes, which includes analytics. But beyond that, this website does not make use of any third-party cookies.

All international websites are legally required to present a privacy policy, and so below I have tried to slap one together using fragments from the “Sample messages for your privacy policy” article provided by Squarespace.

Hopefully this should cover everything, but please reach out if you have any questions or suggestions!
